This year Christmas happened at home and we had snow. The bipeds went to visit friends and family before Christmas and then we had lots of visitors around the Christmas time. Both Hamish and I love people and all the visitors were friendly, dog liking people so we all got on well. However ....................Hamish blotted his copybook...big time! the bipeds went out shopping and we were left at home but........someone left the gate open and we could get upstairs. Now upstairs hold no amazement for me but Hamish is young and wants to explore everywhere so off he went...............upstairs. He was away for quite a long time as I lay on my bed relaxing and only came down when the bipeds returned. He wasn't quick enough and met them on his way down so they know he/we had be up there. Unfortunately he had found our Christmas presents and eaten all the edible ones................turkey and cranberry biscuits, green Christmas trees and chocolate drops and munchy rolls.............disaster!!!!! the bipeds said "bad Hamish" and our fault 'cause we left the gate open then Hamish was sick on the carpet! We both needed a good run in the fields and along the canal after that!
